Modest Mouse - I've Got It All (Most)

Heard that one first on KLSU after I was already obsessed with MM. Loved it then and still love it now.

great tunes... they have so many in my opinion...

only complaint I have, is live.. they tend to speed 'em up too much...

By the way, my Connells songs are Fine Tuning and Something to Say... but Fun and Games is just such an easy listen... great record!

Thought about posting that one and some D-n-C but I stuck with catchy, fun, groovy.

Love both, but I could probably make a 15 song Best Of from their catalogue. It's that good. Almost no one has heard I Suppose. So great.

Some really great tracks there, I especially love Did You See the Words

AC Newman- The Miracle Drug

This thread could really just be a list of like 50 or so tracks written by AC Newman, but that is definitely one of his best. How his music isn’t splattered all over the radio blows my mind.

Some of my other favorites by him (already linked Letter From an Occupant earlier in the thread):

The New Pornographers- The Body Says No

A.C. Newman- I’m Not Talking

The New Pornographers- The Bleeding Heart Show

Sunday Shining by Finley Quaye.

I heard this on KLSU in 1997 and it’s stuck with me ever since.
