Do you think you could muster up your top 10 favorite bands of all time? Honestly, I don't think I can. First, my music tastes are extremely diverse...everything from classic rock, southern rock, jazz, americana, punk, blues, to bluegrass and folk...I think it would be impossible for me to make a top 10. Also, my music taste varies so much depending on mood, location, and even season. I have a rough top 10, but it changes so much. A few bands will always be in there, but the rest are interchangeable. Do any of you have a dead set top 10?

My top ten literally changes every hour or so. There’s no way I could even make an unranked top 25.

Rough draft no particular order excluding bands built around one person and super groups:

White Stripes
Queens of the Stone Age
Nirvana
Rolling Stones
Led Zeppelin
Alice in Chains
The Black Lips
The Black Keys
The Misfits
CCR

God that was brutal, I already wanna change it up but I'll leave it

Favorite bands would be ABB, Pink Floyd, Dire Straits, Led Zep, Black Keys, Bon Iver ( could be considered a solo deal with Justin Vernon)...

If we are including solo artists like Hendrix, SRV, Otis Redding, Stevie Wonder, etc. this will be very difficult to do.

Does it have to be bands, or it can be solo artists?

Also, I'm couting rap groups as bands.

In that case, in no particular order:

I made this off of who I listen to the most.

Older group:
SRV
Jimi Hendrix
ABB
BB King
Buddy Guy
Otis Redding
Muddy Waters
Pink Floyd
Stevie Wonder
Eric Clapton/ Dire Straits/ Led Zep

Newer:
John Mayer
Amos Lee
Ray Lamontagne
Derek Trucks
Gary Clark Jr.
Black Keys
Bon Iver
Joe Bonamassa
The Civil Wars
Mumford and Sons
Jack White deserves to be on here as well

I'll get some hate for this, but Mayer is a top 3 overall artist to me as far as my listens. There's plenty of diversity in his music, and I never get bored with it.
