Blues songs that teach lessons in life

The blues is storytelling music. The best blues players are street corner philosophers, sharing their wisdom through lessons they've learned in life.
One of my favorite "lessons learned" blues songs is "Have Blues, Will Travel." Here's the Joe Kubek/Bnois King version of that song:

What blues songs and artists inspire you with insights on life well lived?

Nobody's Fault but Mine (Blind Willie Johnson)
If You See Me Laughing, I'm laughing to Keep From Crying (many folks)
Where Did You Sleep Last Night (Leadbelly)
It Hurts Me Too (Grateful Dead version, Pigpen specifically)
On the Way Back Down (Toussaint)
Dark Was the Night, Cold was the Ground (Blind Willie Johnson)
I'm so Glad (Skip James, later Clapton, much later Col. Bruce Hampton)
Ribs and Whiskey (WSP)
...the Blues are God's gift to us.

More "grown folk music" than traditional blues, but they are staples of the chitlin circuit:
"Lick It Before You Stick It" Denise Lasalle
"Stand Up In It" Theodis Ealey
"Man in the Drawer" Andre Lee

Not blues, but I don't care.
Dr. John - Same old same old
"Same old me, same old stuff, same old work..don't make enough."
"Gotta make enough bread to buy the bread."

An old blues tune with the line
"I got everything I always wanted, but I lost what I had."

I love Lightning Hopkins, though my favorite song of his is a cover by Elvin Bishop of "Honey Babe" - strong honky tonk piano solo.
Charlie Daniels, Dickey Betts, Toy Caldwell, Vassar Clements, and Sly Stone all appear on the album.

This song was a big reason I got back in touch w/ my dad after 18 years; "He Don't Live Here Anymore" - Robert Cray
Best decision I've ever made in my life.
Still gives me shivers every time I hear it, because it makes me think about what could have been.

Nice story with a happy ending, and I love Robert Cray.
Though not a blues song, Ryan Bingham's "Tell My Mother I Miss Her So" has a similar effect on me. My mother died when I was little and whenever I hear that song, I think of the chorus and I hope someone is telling my mom how much I miss her.
The lyrics really don't match my situation, but I don't care.

I've always liked Zeppelin's "Tea for One."
"How come 24 hours sometimes seems to slip into days, but a minute seems like a lifetime, baby when I feel this way."
