That Steve Earle/Del McCoury album is a classic for sure.
And Del does a great job on Vincent Black Lightning. Buy my favorite Del song is:

I love bluegrass. I'm a halfway decent banjo picker but haven't played in 12 years. May I recommend Old and in the Way, a band with Vassar Clements, Jerry Garcia and a couple other guys. First album was self titled and released in 1973.

I am a big fan of Leftover Salmon. They get away from the bluegrass sound a little at times because the fiddle player plays electric guitar and other instruments but there's always a banjo going. Bad arse show.

Iron Horse is great way to get into bluegrass you know a lot of the song plus they are really good
So how many other pickers do we have on here I can do ok on mandolin and guitar working on the fiddle
and do a little on dobro and banjo
