Bluegrass anyone?

I never meet anyone who likes bluegrass. I grew up in Texas until 12, moved to Connecticut where I learned of Yonder Mountain String Band in 2002 or so.
Came down to BR for LSU in 2005 and still don't cross many who like it. I saw Yonder at Varsity a year or so ago. It was awesome BTW. Got my wife into them, my buddy listens on the regular after attending that show.
I listen to the Bluegrass Junction in my wife's car every so often. Anyone else into this?

Check out Keller Williams(not the realtor)
He plays in a lot of different jam genres, but his blue grass is great. Listen the cover of Another Brick in the Wall.

I've always said if I could only listen to one genre of music for an entire year it would be Bluegrass...
Listen to "Iron Horse" on Pandora, tons of great bluegrass covers...

The first one is RRE's late night set from DelFest last weekend. Havent listened to it yet, but they are one of my favorite bands.

Keller isn't bluegrass...
When I think of bluegrass I think 5 piece string band with 4 and 5 part harmonies...Stand up bass, banjo, fiddle, guitar, mandolin. Keller just loops shite and makes every song sound the same...I'm not a huge Keller fan but I can understand why some people like his music.

Keller is definitely not bluegrass, but I think bluegrass has more broad definitions than what you said.

I love bluegrass. Ralph Stanley more than YMSB though..

Correct me if I'm wrong here, but the YMSB song 'Two Hits and the Joint Turned Brown"; isn't that a Stanley cover?
Was he the 'creater' of jamgrass?

There is no difference.
There is no difference in the instrument but there is a huge difference in the goals the person who is playing the instrument has.
