Right the 800 capacity former theatre that has great acoustics and sound system is terrible.

I've been to shows there that sounded great but to be honest the last show I saw there was Elliott Smith and how long ago was that?

I moved here in 08 and haven't been to a show.

However, if they are having sound trouble it's not because of the room or building. Good room for a show, good acoustics. Good bones. You can do much more with that building than you can with Spanish Moon.

If the issue is, Spanish Moon is run better and gets a cooler crowd, then if they moved their crowd and their management to the Varsity, the product would improve. If the issue with the Varsity is management and equipement, if they moved to Spanish Moon it would be that much worse.
