This is the obvious number one answer.
I am thinking Page and Plant wrote most of Led Zeppelin's tunes (not counting a decent amount of songs off the early albums, especially their first one, that were basically covers of old blues songs).
Thoughts??? I think this comes second to the Beatles.....
ETA: I forgot about Elton and Taupin......also could be a close second.

I would vote for Jagger and Richards...one laid down the riff and the other wrote the lyrics as if they were 1 person. And did it for 50 years. As a "team" I think they are the best.
