I didn't know they were still around. Saw them a few times years ago.

wow. they are still going? I

They started playing a few shows about 3 or 4 years ago mostly at Dan's SilverLeaf in Denton which is their hometown and Brent works sound at Dan's now. I've seen them 3 times since they reformed and since they are mostly sober now, they put on a good show.

Besides seeing friends play in small venues, The Surfrajettes was the only real concert and they were fantastic. I was surprised with how hard they rocked. Surf yes, but they were incredibly tight and kicked arse all night.

A highlight was a medley of "In-A-Gada-Da-Vida" with "Sunshine Of Your Love". Best $20 I spent all year.

He still has a lot of energy (and the swagger) considering his age. The Blues Explosion absence was noticeable, but it was still a great show.

Forgot I saw Jeff Tweedy with his sons as his backing band in Massachusetts this summer and it was a great show. Also saw Kurt Vile in New Haven and it was awesome as well.

I hate to rank em because its art and its up to the beholder but:

- Paul McCartney - just amazing.
- Dead & Co with Billy Strings, Sturgill Simpson, and Trey Anastasio over 3 days in Golden Gate Park was very, very special.
- Wilco - Just lucked into a show in Asheville when I was on vacation
- Tedeschi Trucks Band - they were in Asheville too on a makeup gig from the flood
- Bob Wier with the orchestra at the Saenger in NOLA

The Sword
Buckethead
QOTSA
Acid Bath's first show in 30 years
Marcus King Band/Chris Stapelton
Reverand Horton Heat (likely my favorite one this year when all is done)
Going see Trivium and Jinjer Friday

Concert I completely regret blowing $200 on....Heart last summer.

2026 - Going see All Them Witches for the fifth time on Feb 14. Can't wait. Plus King Buffalo is opening.

Upon review, you are correct. Can I count the Billy Strings New Years Eve show as 2024 or a 2025!!!
