Not sure if they fit one hit wonder as they were big in the UK for longer but did the Verve chart in the US outside of Bittersweet Symphony?

"Lucky Man" charted on the Adult Alt #14 & Alt #16 but I don't remember it being played much.

New Radicals had a very good first album Maybe You''ve Been Brainwashed Too

Too bad Greg Alexander (goofy,tall guy) is somewhat eccentric and broke up the band after the album.

He's written and produced for several other artists since.
