The Bob Dylan Royal Albert Hall recording has the best live song ever... when Bob "plugged in" for Like a Rolling Stone. ("Play it fricking loud.")
Can't go wrong with Cash, though. Though I am partial to U2's Live Under a Blood Red Sky. Great call.

U2's Gloria from Under a Blood Red Sky is my favorite U2 tune.

Outstanding performance
shite. The more I listen to that song the more I think than neither JC nor ABB could touch that. Hell of a performance.

Not sure if I consider "Woodstock" a great album on the whole but there are some outstanding individual tracks on it.
Santana
Joe Cocker
Sly & the Family Stone

I would have to go with:
KISS - Alive
Cheap Trick - Live at Budokan
Pink Floyd - Delicate Sound of Thunder

I've never heard At Fillmore East all the way through. I need to educate myself.
For me it's:
Stones - Get Yer Ya-Ya's Out
Neil Diamond - Hot August Night
Rick Nelson - In Concert at The Troubadour 1969
Chicago At Carnegie Hall
Elvis - On Stage February 1970

THAT song live is one of the best I've ever heard. My favorite part: "Hello, I'm Johnny Cash."

This album comes out this summer:
A concert with the Stones and Muddy Waters from Chicago during the '81 tour. This should be kick arse.

Very, very good suggestion. I was lucky enough (actually, old enough) to see both the ABB and Little Feat with all original members. Tough to pick which one was better live.
