What albums are you listening to? I need to discover something new.

I listen almost exclusively to albums. A little help on your musical tastes, though?

Like I said I’m looking for something new, just curious what others are listening to and think “what a great album”. Some of my favorite albums:

Paul Simon Graceland
Neil young after the gold rush
Bob Marley legend
Bela fleck live at the quick
Oscar Peterson some live album
Miles Davis kind of blue
Pearl Jam ten/ live on two legs
Nirvana unplugged
Radiohead the bends
Tool lateralus, 10k days
Clutch blast tyrant
Ray lamontagne /pariah dogs god willing and the creek don’t rise
Joey landreth whiskey is the most recent thing I’ve discovered. It’s kinda blues meets a little country. I like some of the electronic influenced stuff too but haven’t found much I like as an album.

If you like Paul Simon, check out Vampire Weekend. Start with the first album.

These are all within the last few years, and in no real order or claim to be exhaustive. Just some somewhat recent albums I like off the top of my head.

Titus Andronicus: Most Lamentable Tragedy
Car Seat Headrest: Teens of Denial
Lucy Dacus: Historian
Phoebe Bridgers: Stranger in the Alps
Pinegrove: Cardinal
Kevin Morby: City Music
The World is a Beautiful Place and I am No Longer Afraid to Die: Harmlessness
Bully: Losing
boygenius: boygenius
Panopticon: Autumn Eternal
Lord Huron: Strange Trails

If you can stomach rap I'd add:
Kendrick Lamar: Good Kid Maad City
Kendrick Lamar: To Pimp a Butterfly
Saba: Care for Me
Vince Staples: Summertime 06

The Strokes: Is This It.
Interpol: Turn On The Bright Lights.
Arcade Fire: Funeral.
Amy Winehouse: Back To Black.
Sufjan Stevens: Illinois.
Flaming Lips: Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots.
Spoon: A Series Of Sneaks.

Exclusively albums of artists i actually have interest in. The best songs are very typically album songs and you grasp the intended theme of albums only by listening to the full album.
Theres even a newer trend of albums filled with songs that are less than a minute/minute and a half in length. Every song. Doesnt mean there arent quality versions of these, just more
the instant gratification, short attention span era of life i dont care for. Maybe im just old.

Pretty much exclusively albums here as well. Hogfly and rebel have given some great recommendations. Ten albums from the ‘10s I really really like (and previously unmentioned) are:

Titus Andronicus- The Monitor
The War on Drugs- Lost in a Dream
Sufjan Stevens- Carrie and Lowell
Jeff Rosenstock- Worry.
LCD Soundsystem- This is Happening
Fleet Foxes- Helplessness Blues
Cloud Nothings- Attack on Memory
Deakin- Sleep Cycle
The National- High Violet
Arcade Fire- The Suburbs

I don't always listen to full albums, but I do enjoy doing so from time to time. Without doing so, it is hard to understand the music in its proper context. Albums are designed to flow from song to song, and often, a story is told by the songs on the album. Most albums that aren't "Greatest Hits" volumes aren't just throwing together a bunch of random tracks. They're usually carefully curated to fit together. Songs that wouldn't sound great as singles often make much more sense when played in context.

When I listen to an album I listen to it start-to-finish. If it's in my car then it might not be all at once, but I don't do any random listening. I did make a CD copy of Double Fantasy by John Lennon that omits all the Yoko songs. Those are unlistenable.

There's not a bad song on any of Steely Dan's first six albums.

Lot of good ones in this thread so far. I’m going to list albums that I think are entirely under appreciated yet incredible:

In this order listen to all three continuously:

Tom Waits- Swordfishtrombone
Tom Waits- Rain Dogs
Tom Waits- Frank’s Wild Years
