Any Todd Snider fans here ?

Was listening to his greatest hits tonight...what a great artist !

I guess I would classify his music as Americana - Country, but it's good stuff !

Alright Guy

Yep. Todd has come a long way from playing gigs at the long gone Memphis bar Daily Planet barefooted. Always a fun show.

I listen to Tillamook County Jail weekly. I like a few others including the one about D. B. Cooper.

Yes and no. Not all of his stuff resonates with me. Some of it digs in though. He did a good job with Hard Working Americans.

Been listening to him since the early 90’s when he played my bar in Memphis a few times.

As the other poster stated - always barefooted.

He's like a lesser Pete Droge.

I saw him in Boulder, very good show and kind of casually brilliant and good rapport with the audience . Although I did have to clean the commie out of my hair after the show. . Does the best rendition of Fortunate Son ever. To me , he retired that song and Fogerty should pay him royalties.

Been a fan since 94ish, when he used to swing through Destin and play Harbor Docks.

Seen him a couple dozen times live. The latest show (last year in Pensacola) was long on intoxicated rambling and short on songs, unfortunately.

Storytelling remains topnotch, though. The live version of Ballad of the Devil's Backbone Tavern is a prime example.

He also fronted a side project band called “Hard Working Americans” with Dave Schools and Duane Trucks from Widespread Panic.

Their cover of "Straight to Hell" is pretty incredible.
