Of course. Core was an amazing debut album and they followed up with Purple which was very solid. Saw them at State Palace in the 90's. They were great live back then.

Sucks how it ended for Weiland but he had it all as a frontman.

What would you rate the concert out of 10? I wish I could have seen Weiland live.

I listen to STP daily, they're part of my workout playlist. Interstate love song and plush are two of the greatest rock songs of all time.

State Palace used to host some big acts. STP was up there with the best. Weiland's in my top 5 frontmen for sure. I guess after Tool and Pantera that was my 3rd favorite show there.

Interstate Love Song got beaten down by radio a bit, but it is a fantastic song.

Vasoline, Big Empty, Crackerman, Unglued, Wicked Garden...they have a lot of good songs.

Tools awesome. I wish I could have seen them when they came last year. It was cool back then in a smaller venue. I remember Danny's drum tech working his arse off swapping out toms cause he kept busting heads as hard as he was playing.

Saw STP a few times live....Voodoo Fest 2000 will still go down as one of the greatest nights of my life. Front Row, STP in their late prime.

I never understood, and still don’t understand, why STP was labeled a Pearl Jam clone when they hit it big. To me they sound nothing like, and are infinitely superior to, Pearl Jam.

To answer the question in the OP, “Sex Type Thing” is my favorite, followed closely by “Lady Picture Show”.

The sound was remotely similar since coming from same era BUT as a whole STP’s iconic sound was nothing close to Pearl Jam, and I like both a lot.

Lucky that I caught STP with Weiland when he was ON in 2010 BR River Center, great show full of hits. Came out swinging with Crackerman and Weiland with his megaphone and were off and running from there. Outstanding vocalist

Still Remains is my favorite song. Lady Picture Show is a close second.

Really like STP. I used to sing Plush as my go to Karaoke.
