Ivan Neville's best role in a jamband is when he plays with the June Yamagishi/Johnny Vidacovich/George Porter Jr trio at the Lead every Wed of Jazz Fest.

2011,2012,&2013 were all outstanding

So far the consensus is Pretty Lights, Primus, and Dave

If it's so clear and I'm so blatantly clueless, then you should have no problem explaining what a jamband is and why I'm wrong.

Primus and Mogwai are jam bands. Not sure how anyone who has seen them live can disagree with that.

Built to Spill is certainly a band that jams

I love how 'alt' fans are so terrified of a label

I love how young urban professionals like to co-opt everything into their cabal of "tasty jams"

edit: but, to be fair, you can have Mogwai and Primus

I credit you with giving me that name for phish phans!

You know if they do play that Saenger, it'll be a good opportunity for us to meet, them post up and roll them for their drugs!
