when do you grow out of the shitty alt country phase?

You usually grow out of the dave matthews phase at 15 then grow out of the widespread panic phase at 18, umphreys and moe. around 23 then phish at around 25.

I'm only 21 but Jam bands are my favorite type of music by far so I doubt I'll grow out of it. But who knows

Never. Have you seen Deadheads before?
Good live music doesn't become uncool with time like that pop-faux-country shite you love.

I'm 37 years old, rage Phish daily, and frick 21 year old girls on the reg. I win.

do people who listen to rap now see themselves listening to it in 20 years?? Or even 10?
Are they going to be nostalgic for the old rap, and "not this shitty excuse for rap the kids listen to today"?

Yeah, I remember people making a fuss about Toubab Krewe a few years ago. Sounded like shite to me.
I'd put moe. ahead of Umphrey's.
Furthur announced last week that they were done.
I wish Derek Trucks would kick his wife out of the band and just lead a super jam-centric group.

28... then you fall back into it at 63

I'm not being serious... like at all. I would never allow The Black Crowes on any list. And Heady, Toubab is the jam.

I'm surprised that Railroad Earth isn't more liked.

moe. has definitely been consistently good for the past ten years. They are like an underdog just hanging in there for the right chance to blow up. I think they're better than umphreys, but really pretty similar bands with similar followings. sure their lyrics are kinda ghey but their jams are fricking good. I see them continuing to improve and will improve as a jam band in the future

Umphrey's are so fricking good they're terrible
Does that make any sense to anybody?
To furhter explain, because that comment sounds so dumb:
That shite sounds robotic to me. It's like watching Metallica or some insanely technically proficient Scandinavian black metal guitarist
Like yea, it's great fricking music I guess, but...meh
