filmed on location in Mexico, Italy, Senegal, Morocco, and the U.S. It follows the journey of a massive cocaine shipment from the Mexican cartels handling production to the Italian crime syndicates that distribute it to the American businesses controlling the money the market produces
8 part series. Based on a book by the guy that wrote Gomorrah I heard about it on a podcast this week but haven't seen much else about it.

Is it all subtitles?
I still haven't started it but no. According to one article I read the brokers/shipping are based in New Orleans.

Mostly subtitles, but you'll understand why as you begin to watch. In a way it helps with realism of the show if that makes sense. I binge watched the whole season yesterday and I hope we get a second.

I thought it was pretty good. For some reason the daughter just bothered me, I think they could have done a better job casting that one.

I’m on Ep 4. The entire show is miscast. The daughter is cringeworthy. She reminds of Anne Heche. And Dane DeHaan is once again doing his goofy Nick Stahl impression.
But for some reason I keep watching.

Friend told me Queen Of The South is better. Anyone seen both and care to share your opinion?

Binged it this weekend. Thought it was great.

I watched it all in a couple of days. Each episode was full of craziness, but minus the Mexican story line, I liked it, and couldn't stop watching.
The American and Italian families were infinitely more interesting than the Mexican army guys.

The story lines were not just bad, they were absurd.

Just finished episode 2 and I'm pretty entertained. The father sister brother relationship was kind of strange in the beginning.
