Zendaya being eyed as Matt Damon’s replacement in Bourne franchise

According to industry insider Jeff Sneider, who says he has confirmed the news with multiple sources, Zendaya is in talks with Universal to replace Matt Damon as the lead of the Bourne reboot.
It’s no secret that Damon wasn’t happy with the last film in the franchise, Jason Bourne. Even though it made $416.2 million at the box office, it wasn’t nearly as exciting as the first three films in the franchise. So getting him to come back for a fifth film wasn’t going to be easy.
Now it seems like Universal has given up on the idea of Jason Bourne and instead is branching out for a new female Bourne – a gender-swapped reboot or spin-off of one of Hollywood’s most masculine action franchises.

Why Zendaya when Queen Latifa is clearly perfect for the role?

Is there any way they could cast Pedro Pascal too?

Definitely more posts complaining about potential rage than people raging about the potential movie.
You guys have already lost the plot.
And now yes, there's my post, complaining about complaining about the potential rage. So I win.

I can see it. There have been a few tiny women that played bad asses. Like Leem Loubany in Condor.
Edit to add that she’s skinny but tallish. At least she looks tall next to Tom Holland and he’s an action star.

to be fair, if the movie is true to the book, the physical stuff will be minimized.

Matt Damon definitely watched Tom Cruise milk the Mission Impossible franchise for decades. No way he's going to let his cash cow slide. It's pretty much a guaranteed paycheck.
