Nah. I think Bayside was just predominately white and consisted of good ole color blind Californians. Had it been racist there would have been some drama about Screech having a sever case of the jungle fever and Slater being a greasy arse mexican.

He was trying to apologize to Jesse for being so insensitive when she got them tickets to the ballet. He wanted to go to the LA Raiders football game. A man with a mullet who can rock spandex is not something to be overlooked.

Zach had his shining moments don't get me wrong. I really enjoyed the episode where he got to be principal for a week and it was nice to see him use a moral compass and do the right thing, helping Kelly gain control of her class while motivating the football players to study and do well.

In addition to the countless other things he's done people have mentioned in this thread.
Lets not forget that he also tried to help Miss Bliss win teacher of the year, helped Tori from failing the class project, and how about being Screech's only real friend from the start. Very great human being.

I gotta admit that the most selfish move Zack ever made was to try and keep Kelly from going to Paris for a modeling shoot.
