I've been this way for about 10 years now, but if a movie is about an animal that is going to die, I'm not going to watch it.

I lost my mom 2 months ago so my new rule is im out if the a focal point of the movie is a person losing a parent. I'm having a hard enough time with losing my mom, I don't need a movie to make it worse.

1. Schindlers List
2. Requiem for a Dream
3. City of God

My Dog Skip
Where the Red Fern Grows

As you can tell, I am a sucker for dog movies like this. Depressing.

Here’s one I found to be extremely sad, especially since I didn’t know what it was about before watching it…

Are we talking sad or depressing? I can watch movies that have sad endings or movies that generally have a sad tone but have at least somewhat of an uplifting end over and over but I can't watch movies that depress me the whole way through the movie. Schindler's List and Saving Private Ryan are sad movies. Taxi Driver, Midnight Cowboy, and One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest are depressing movies.

Fault in our stars- watched it about 3 months after losing my dad to cancer. It messed me up.

About time- great father/son relationship movie. Kills me every time, but awesome movie.

Not really a sad movie in totality, but the ending of Warrior always gets me.

Probably the most frustrating that leaves you really angry at one person.
