Dances With Wolves is in my top ten movies of all time.
Hot take: The Untouchables is a VERY flawed movie. While it does have some good moments, they are outweighed by some atrocious acting and worse dialogue.
Hotter take: Kevin Costner has never made a bad movie. Even Waterworld is good.

Just going off what I remember watching the most.
Bull Durham
Field of Dreams
Tin Cup
I've never really rewatched The Untouchables (at least not in two decades), certainly not the marathon JFK, and probably not Dances with Wolves since the 90s.
Open Range I've seen multiple times but I'm sticking with the sports theme

I didn't think it was all that good 20 years ago, but after the love it gets here I watched it again in the last year. And I still don't think it's all that good. Something is just off in the chemistry/timing between Duvall and Costner. Or maybe Costner just doesn't measure up. I'm not going to blame Duvall. For a better modern era western watch Appaloosa.
I'm sorry, but it's terrible. And Waterworld is BAD.

Also on a side note I always liked The Postman. Very underrated.

Just rewatched it two weeks ago because it popped up on Prime.
It's such a tight thriller.
Never drags. Saturday afternoon movie that won't let you off the couch to be productive.

My 3 favorite Costner movies are
Mr Brooks
Tin Cup
Bull Durham
They aren't really in order but those are my three favorites.

Just watched this the other day and forgot how cheesy it is in a few parts. Like really bad and terrible acting.
Open Range and DWW are the easiest two for me. From there it gets harder but I always enjoyed Robin Hood. Field of Dreams is up there too.
