You forgot Rosie O’ Donnell.

I think when you have the talent of all of those you can expand the traditional Cis misogynist concept of “Mount Rushmore”

I never found Richard Pryor to be that funny, and his movies kind of sucked
Can you explain this part? All of his movies sucked?

Just with The Toy, Stir Crazy, See No Evil.. you're already in a decent spot. It's difficult to judge standup comedians solely based on movies, but Pryor definitely had a good crossover.

I've told people this before, but I think the Redd Foxx, Richard Pryor, Eddie Murphy passing the torch legacy was amazing in my lifetime. It's why I really like Harlem Nights, even though it isn't a great movie. Della Reese steals that show.

I don't like those movies. See No Evil did have a great set of naked tits. Brewster's Millions, Harlem Nights, Moving, The Bingo Long Travelling All-Stars..., all kind of sucked and are pretty dated and Pryor wasn't great in any of them. Surprised you didn't bring up Silver Streak, which I think was his best. His stand up just doesn't hold up to contemporary Carlin or new comers Murphy and Chapell. But that is me and comedy is pretty subjective. He was a ground breaker; I'll give him that.

Love everyone on this list but not sure they have the body of work aside from Norm. The Gary Gullman mention previously is also great.

No Carlin or Pryor means this is a shite list.

Those 2 are already carved. Everyone else is fighting for a spot.

Nate Bargatze is not even top 10.

Meh. I’ve never found either of them very funny. But to each their own.

And Nate is funny to you? He's the equivalent of watching paint dry. I tried watching his stand up and he wouldn't make a top 20 for me. Carlin and Pryor are kings.

Yes very. Those are my four favorite comedians. Glad you have yours.
