Tried to think about different styles

George Carlin - as relevant now as he was then
Richard Pryor - changed the genre. Pretty sure I learned some words from him.
Roseanne Barr - proved that women can be funny
Seinfeld - not the funniest - but proved you can avoid blue and still make people laugh
Robin Williams - I couldn't stand him, but his stuff was just different.

And I like Hedberg a lot.

Gillis - doesn't have the body of work yet, but no one makes me laugh harder more consistently except maybe Norm.

I love Kauffman (And Tony Cliffton), but imo, Robin Williams gets the nod.

Lenny Bruce is groundbreaking, but like Mitch Headberg, too few got to know how great. I'm not exactly young, but while I've know OF Lenny Bruce, I can't say I'm fully versed in much of his work.

So Norm is one of my all time favorites. His actual stand up was not his best stuff though. Whenever he went on a late night talk show or something like that is when he really shined.

I never found Richard Pryor to be that funny, and his movies kind of sucked.

Cosby was actually pretty good while avoiding the cursing.
