It is to me by FAR the worst episode of the show

Oh god.. episode 7… another nail biter family feud style episode

Luckily it doesn’t stay too hectic for long.. but it’s a really great episode with everyone together

I thought that episode was done very well. It was all building up to a Three Fishes type catastrophe, and then it all comes together, and it actually ended up being a nice family event. I did not see that coming.

HOLY frick WHY AM I SHLOSSING THROUGH THIS bullshite
It was just mailed in, they stretched it out into 10 episodes. And the main theme of the whole thing was the clock strikes zero it is closed, and then it struck zero.......just stupid. I had it on in the background in my office today, so I missed a good bit, but when every episode is the same....it feels like I kept up.

The clock itself didn't even make sense. They finally reversed course and were operating in the black and they still made it seem like they were shutting down no matter what.

Like da fuq was the point of the clock

All
They had to do was fire some people and quit changing the menu, problem solved . The 4th season was basically rendered irrelevant

Couldn't really fire anybody. Luca and the people from the fancy restaurant were all working for free as Stages I believe?

The most obvious thing was to stop changing the menu, which they finally did and start making money.

The whole thing about T making the pasta in 3 minutes instead of 4 was so dumb. They only have two dinner services a night. That extra minute of time did not a damn thing

4th season seems primed to have The Beef become a franchise and actually be stupid profitable and the family has a big happy moment and Carmy is finally happy with Claire and goes back to being a sous chef at The Bear or some shite.

the showrunners fell in love with themselves, the music and cramming as many big name cameos as they possibly could.

Lost in doing all of that is telling an actual cohesive story that pays the viewer off

instead, we get fabricated and manufactured family drama instead of what most people want to see: the actual restaurant, the actual cooking, the food...you know, things that revolve around the business that they're in.

they dedicated an episode to Syd, to Carmy cooking for mom, to this wedding that nobody cares about and for some reason they're all at, they devote a a quarter of each episode to the Faks, which is ridiculous

what the hell are we doing here if we're not trying to tell a good story

I’ll watch season 5 as the conclusion but I’m not excited at all. There’s no residual buzz for it for me

Finally finished, and damn the set must have been everybody smelling each others farts. This was total BS. every episode was like watching the old VH1 Celebrity Rehab show.

Man this show has gone downhill

Nothing ever happens. The storyline has gone nowhere in 2 seasons.

How many episodes are they gonna focus on Sydney? And Carmy is such a bitch with Claire. She’s a smokeshow

How do you end the best episode so far and then start the next one with the worst character. I’ve already skipped a babysitting episode with her and the this.

We finished it last night and my wife asked me if anything happened this season.

I had to think about it but really don’t think anything happened until the last episode.

One of these things is not like the others. Carmy cooking for his mom was a pretty substantial event of repentance, forgiveness and redemption. Of all the problems this season has, that scene wasn't one of them.

Everything from the wedding on was pretty darn good TV wise, but it was a very uneven season of TV.

Mostly better than last season, I guess.

The stuff with Carmy and his mom was great.
