I think the best ending would be for Beth and Rip to go to jail and Jamie offs himself. None of them can just ride off into the sunset.
I was saying in season two that the best outcome would be for John to give all that land to the Indians. I wonder if Taylor has always had an ending in mind.

I just want one scene where Jamie tells that stupid bitch Beth off for blaming him for her being sterile. Which honestly her being sterile is a huge plus for the world

This may seem like a dumb question, but did they ever tie up the poaching of the wolves and the tracker they found in the river?

Not really, there was a newsflash on the tv in the room John was in about the trackers last know location was on the Dutton Ranch.

Frankly, John’s “suicide” fricks up a lot of stuff. His character is never going to have to pay for his actions. At least with respect the audience.

Go watch the ending to 1883. Specifically the scene between Tim McGraw and the Indians where they give him directions on where to bury his daughter.

So what was Rip's average speed to make it back to the ranch in like 6-7 hours?

they said 7 generations. Tate is the 7th generation. The ranch will end up in his hands and since he's 1/2 Indian, the land will be back in Indian hands.

First, frick Costner for leaving and forcing Sheridan to try to rewrite the end of this series.
You can tell that those two absolutely fricking hate each other

that beth is such a bad arse...drinking and smoking at community service, she's just so hardcore.
this show is so intentionally stupid....Yeah this professional killing agency is like "ahh no fake a heart attack? Then they may run an autopsy or some shite and ask questions....An out of no where suicide ? Yep much easier, open and shut case"

I think they did, but it ended up on the cutting room floor replaced by several scenes of horses sliding, twirling around and doing cow stuff.

There was some "lady" that used to post here bragging about how she had tshirts that said...
"A Litte Sweet, A Little Beth Dutton" and
"You are the trailer park. I am the tornado"
As if that made her sound badass or something.
No... it's cringy and just... well... trashy and trashy can be.

In East Texas when this show was at it's peak all the redneck women had the
"Don't make me go Beth Dutton on you!" shirts
"Don't make me go Beth Dutton on you!" shirts

I also don't understand what was the point of the flashback to 6 weeks prior? What did that add? Maybe a brief one to show that chick hiring the special ops killers...but the whole Texas thing was worthless.
Years in between seasons and sheridan can't fill one hour without a shite ton of needless filler. He has to be trolling the audience at this point

IDAF at the H8ters, My wife and I still like it and are looking forward to tonight's episode. So what if it's "off the rails"? It's always been that way.
After reading so many negative quotes, this show has ascended to a point where is has such a huge fan base that there will never be anything that will make all of the fans happy. This show is just as "ridiculous" as it was in season one. The only thing that has changed is the fans have become so used to the things that made this show a hit that the tropes that used to appeal to fans are no longer working.

Guthrie, TX to Darby, MT is 1500 miles. So, he had that Ram rolling over 200 mph.

Gendry still holds the Hollywood land speed record though.

I don't think John Dutton's dead.
...yet
I think this will end up being a ruis set up by the Feds, with the help of John Dutton in order to expose Jaime and his crew.
Fake suicide with the hope of bringing the corruption out.
Not to mention, Costner did do quite a bit of filming for this season. So he's not completely done.

Or... have him walk downstairs one morning....
"Gator, where's breakfast. I'm hungry. I just had the strangest dream. Before I tell y'all about it, somebody bring me Jamie."
I mean... Dallas did it..
