I laughed my arse off when they said they had to pick up Duttons body and they wouldn't send it to a funeral home. Wtf they gonna do? Toss it in the bed of a truck?

The wife and I were like, whats the fricking point of this episode? A complete waste of time, it added nothing to the story or to any of the many side stories.

Its like TS has just said frick it, I'm not even going to try. The whole 5th season has just been terrible.

They haven't even put Dutton in the ground yet and they are selling everything...give me a break. Seriously, ChatGPT could have written a better script.

“Yeah but you ever seen him ride ??”

How do you write that in for yourself?

Then the rip story about what a fricking Billy bad arse he is

Did i miss something? Was Travis even there at the auction at the Yellowstone? I checked out a bit when it was more cowboy stuff but what was the whole point of Beth in Texas? He's just trolling us at this point.

That entire episode was pretty much a "look at how fkn great I am" shitshow.

I'm guessing the last episode needs to be about 4 hours long in order to answer all of the questions that need answering.

Not sure

But the great Beth even admitted no one in the entire world can do the magic he conjured up that day. I wonder if he brought his cleaning crew to the Dutton auction ?

Strip poker is still a thing? I thought that died with 90s sitcom writing but apparently Sheridan plays it 24/7 with models and other guests that seek his help

Yay! more fluff! dancing horses. more look at me, i'm taylor sheridan!

oh by the way, here's 5 minutes of useless screen time regarding the murder of the fricking governor.

5 seasons and now he tries to show beth being nice?

sheridan has to be juicing, right? doesn't seem like he was that jacked in earlier seasons.

jamie's baby mama wanders back into the picture again.

so far, no mention of the reporter that jamie strangled?

this next episode will either be jam packed with action or, it will just be a teasr for yer ANOTHER season.

I know this might make me dumb, but I don't get the Kacey "plan" for the ranch. To save it, they have to give it away? And Beth not thinking of it...no chance, right.

I know many of you have said here that Rainwater and the natives will get it back in some capacity but what am I about to see next week? Any guesses?

Tate is the last Dutton male so maybe Kaycee is going to sell the ranch to him for $1 and keep it all in the Dutton name.

not sure how it all works but, maybe he sells the ranch to Tate for a low enough price where they can afford the taxes?

is there an age restriction to owning land?

I guess the show will explain it, but the sales tax would be on the sale price. The value of the land would be property taxes. Maybe they are talking the inheritance taxes?

Getting back to the main discussion, the show has been pretty good for me this season outside of last night's Sherdian suck fest.

ETA: And I feel like Beth has been somewhat toned down a bit. Outside of the bar scene which was awkward at best, she hasn't been super over the top. Just over the top.

It really is amazing how Sheridan has let this go off the rails, this show was a favorite of mine and had so much damn potential but these last 2 seasons have been downright awful.

Jamie knows Beth has proof of him with that girl right? So how is he going to pull off his baby mammas plan that she came up with on the fly that included him denying it

You can tell he is done mentally with this show. He is putting zero effort into writing for it. He is putting out vast swaths of filler that take no effort to write. Yea its got good cinematography, but if I want that, I'll watch a NatGeo show.

He has now resorted to making himself the center of attention. Half the episode last night was about him and did nothing to advance the story. He's burning the show to the ground.

What is the studio thinking??? They have to be pissed.

It's been said multiple times so I am just heaping coals on the fire, but good god this show is a shell, maybe not even that, of its former self. I am not a movie/tv historian by any means, but I am struggling to think of a a show that had so much potential, was so widely well regarded, and just burned itself to the ground.

To be honest I haven't even finished the episode. But between Beth and Rips forced wikipedia reading of how assets work on a ranch, Taylor Sheridan jerking himself off on levels I didn't even know were possible, and then "toughest of them all" Rip turning into a fawning schoolgirl over horse trainer+biggest cock on the planet+cowboy jedi....I just quit the episode. Horrible. In every sense of the word. Horrible.

About this…Jamie has always been a bitch but they used to show him at least being a good attorney. He needs to visit this chick to give him some pretty basic legal advice ?
