Not bad if they bought the whole 266,000 acres

Hell if we have to see jimmy again bring him back to the Yellowstone next season as an actually functioning cowboy, but please no more right now

I think we will see him in a few more scenes this season, up until they launch the new show, then I don’t think he’ll ever be back on YS unless it’s an appearance on a series finale. When he rode off with the cowboys at the end of this episode, his YS hat flew off and he didn’t go back to get it.

I noticed that too and wondered if it had special meaning other than just being a dumbass who can't keep his hat on.. Like leaving the Yellowstone in the past, another chapter, etc.. Maybe so..

It looks like that but they also intentionally misdirect with previews so I think it's not next week if it happens.

I'm in the minority, but I am intrigued by the Jimmy Sub-Storyline. See how he may learn to "Cowboy Up".

I believe there will be a story line where he gets back with the road crew. They will start cheating or something and Jimmy will be there to represent The Yellowstone

Dutton looked him in the eye just before he left and told him to remember that when he is there, he is there to represent him and The Yellowstone. Somehow, that is a trigger for something coming down the line

Getting Rip to give biological dad a ride to the train station is the only way to revenge the Dutton hit and also silent the secret of killing the journalist

i mean it was a pretty big part of last season with the group "earning" the brand.

It didn’t seem like a big part to me. It was more like a “oh by the way, you’re branded now.”

I wish it was more like the first couple of seasons. It got sacrificed for the sake of the barrel racers.

For what? Starting a fight in the bunk house? Or did I miss something?

The motivation for these characters is dubious.

I guess he could have done worse. Like, ask Beth for a cowboy shirt.

What a stupid show.

So I'm still hatewatching this

Came here to hash out some points, but in reading through the last few weeks of this thread, most have already mentioned and expounded on the ongoing irritating parts.

At this point I've gotten several people involved in watching this show, especially coinciding with the start of this season.

Not quite to the point of hate-watching yet, but with the current plot directions and storylines, I'm starting to believe I might eventually regret suggesting it.

They really need to get back to that earlier magic before they completely lose it.

This is where I am.

I really like the early story arcs, but man, it's slipping.

Let her live in squalor for a few months. Then maybe she’ll appreciate the garden tub, table fare, and resident chef at tYS.

No, Monica loves the squalor of the rez. That's the problem.

I wish Kaycee or John would sit her down and say “do you think your people are any different than us? Everything you hate here happens there, you just don’t get to sleep in the big house there so you don’t see it.”

Considering Sheridan supposedly was raised on a ranch, he has done a shite job of portraying it accurately.

I get this is TV but come the frick on, I have been trying for 2 seasons now to stay interested but damn this bs with the girls and everything else is making it tough. If he is really from ranching roots do us a favor and portray it somewhat realistic, you can make a storyline out of just being realistic. However I know cows and not Hollywood so who knows.

Looks like some good action tonight based on the previews. Jamie and Real dad confrontation, walker and Lloyd settle it maybe, rip volunteers for a job from John. Hopefully not as lull as the last couple episodes.
