Is TS trying to run this into the ground? I understand the 1880s spin-off showing the origins of tYS. But Jimmy is an unlikable a character. Why center a show around him? He’s a stupid crack head with poor decision making skills who refuses to get his shite together. Why would I care if he succeeds or fails? And how the hell is he riding a horse - a coldbacked horse at that- already? Isn’t he one buck away from paralysis? Which is why he wasn’t supposed to be riding to begin with?

I disagree. I think Jimmy really wants to get his shite together, but just lacks the IQ to do it properly. He’s not “refusing” to get his shite together.
Although he’s been involved in some of the Y shenanigans, he’s not so immersed in them that he is irredeemable like almost all of the others. I like his redemption story arc and am rooting for him.
Also, I had no idea that Barry Corbin was still alive.

Early word was that Walker was going to be involved in the 6666 ranch spinoff as well. I have no idea how that happens with him having to stay in Montana.

Yes, Teeter should have defended Lloyd. They share the Brand.
The barrel racers need to go.
Looks like Jaime's dad knows about him killing the reporter. So even if he did organize the attack on the family, he may have that knowledge as a defense against any repercussions from Jaime.
The hippie greenie chick played by Piper Perabo annoys the frick out of me already. The only way that story line redeems itself is if John shows her the error of her hippie leftists ways and converts her, then nails her.
I keep hoping Walker will become a likable character, but it's just not happening. Meanwhile, by boy Lloyd is getting closer and closer to a train station ride.

Meanwhile, Teeter has had ~ 2 lines of dialogue this season and she is a more dynamic character. Dialogue has become weak this season, including the competition horse investments when the Duttons are supposedly cash poor.

Times 1000! This shite is so boring. It's so obvious they are setting up another story. Not a story that I'm sure I'll like. Jimmy needed to be a more likeable character. He and the girls all need to be a little better looking.
Please make it stop. It's taking up time they could devote to the real story of the show...The Duttons.
