Yeh same, plus she was already chowing on the corn nuts. Food will be an issue no doubt, but I suppose they just start eating each other as the first episode suggested.

So what do we think is going to happen?

There's obviously someone or tribe out there already, given the symbol near the wreckage.

Right, there's a symbol near the wreckage and someone is sending those digital postcards. Could one (or more) of the girls have stayed with the tribe/cult when the girls got rescued? Could the one (or group) who stayed behind be the one(s) sending the postcards? Not sure how they'd send digital postcards from the middle of the woods, but maybe there's more to the tribe/cult than they've shown so far.

Misty's character might be my favorite so far. Such a hilariously awkward weirdo. Adult Misty's date was just...

They are all wearing furs in the scenes flashing back. Maybe they hunt for a while but when dead of winter sets in yhey cant catch small game. Plus they showed a rifle in the goth chocks hands in the preview for the next episode

Good points. I'm still wondering why it took so long to find the girls. The flight recorder was still active until Misty smashed it, and they knew the route the plane was flying. Can't imagine why it took 18/19 months for them to be found.

I wondered that too. But let's not let that get in the way of a good story lol. I definitely think that they start with animals and then end up going after each other. But why would they set up the trap from the opening scene if they were wanting to be rescued. I mean I understand why if they are fighting, but wouldn't that possibly deter being found. Also, there are not as many survivors as I thought so there must be someone else out there.

ETA: lol at thinking eating a rabbit is some crazy concept.

Agreed! They're going to have a tough time fielding a full squad if a soccer match breaks out with the cult/tribe out there.

The reactions at dinner were priceless. You'd think Shauna said she chopped up a puppy and threw it in the chili.

I was dying, I was thinking about rabbit stew the other day. The furniture store customer role play was definitely out of left field lmao. All in all, it is the first time in a while I'm watching something and have literally no idea where it is headed (although they give us the future storyline so we sort of know where its headed at the same time).

I guess Showtime's lack of advertising worked out for this as we haven't seen a ton of clips from later in the season.

Glad there is a thread on this because me and the wife love this show. The 90’s nostalgia is great Christina Ricci’s acting is on point she has got the crazy shut in shite down plus she still has a great rack (sexy in a probably a great lay but would kill me kind of way). The actress playing adult Shaunna is driving me nuts, I’ve seen her in something but can’t place it. Is she a big commercial actress? Love the story so far and can’t wait to see where it goes. Liking it more than the new Dexter actually.

She's from the worst show of all time, Two and a Half Men. She's not very attractive on this show but I've seen her in some movies and shows looking pretty sexy.

Never watched that show. I think I’m getting her confused with the brunette chick in the Red Robin commercials.

She has been in a lot of stuff over the years. The last thing I remember her in was Castle Rock, she played Molly.

10 episodes total and yeah, pretty bland episode. Although, I'm curious what's going to happen to the girl who has run out of meds and was chilling in the attic with the skeleton. Seems like she's got some sort of psychological issues.

Can't believe it took them so long to find the source of the bad smell they kept complaining about

I'm curious what's going on with the subplots of Taissa's ability to see ghosts and her son punching a kid in the face and then dismembering the doll in the basement

I do wonder if this will end up with some sort of supernatural theme after the last two episodes with Taissa and the son. One of his drawings in the window showed a bed surrounded by three grey-faced, black-eyed or eyeless figures standing over a bed, and then this episode she sees such a figure in the mirror while witnessing her grandmother’s death.

I kind of hope it’s not supernatural.

As far as the hottie named Lottie (she was in “Mad Max: Fury Road” and “Gods of Egypt”) with the psych meds, you can clearly read the medicine label if you pause it in a previous episode when the housekeeper puts down the bottle. The label was a misspelling of something that treats schizophrenia. Started with an “L,” but I don’t recall what it was.

Edit to add: bottle read Loxipene, which is fake, but there is a real drug called Loxapine for schizophrenia.
