Makes even less sense when it becomes clear that she's losing her powers because of her wish. Why did some random dude have to lose his life too?

Not that they stuck to any rules, but I THINK the granted wishes had to have some basis in reality. So a dead guy couldn't just come back. But a live guy, suddenly thinking he's the dead guy, and being convincing enough that his love would come to "see" him as the dead guy... that was possible.

A quick mention that they introduced Simon Stagg in this film. And he resembled his comic counterpart. Fingers crossed for a decent Metamorpho.

My only question is this Maxwell Lord a cyborg or not.

They shouldve just put Cheetah in a suit like catwoman but keep the actual superpowers.
CATS shouldve told them a real catwoman humanoid is too difficult to pull off

but that shows that the most valuable thing in her life was a man

Which is really why they should have just scrapped that. No one would have questioned him just appearing after her wish. The meat suit just lead to more Wtf why questions with no real benefit of it.

Watched it last night. I enjoyed it with no problems.

Watched this yesterday. My reaction as the credits rolled...

This movie was incredibly bad. 2 of the worst villains ever. And the post credits scene was just dumb.it’s obvious the fix was in with the initial reviews.

So you enjoy meat suit rape?

I see this thread is pretty big...what is the general consensus of the movie (spoiler free if possible)?
Also, I never saw the first WW; is that one worth a watch? If so I may give that one a try and then watch this one. I've seen some negative things about it though, which is why I came here to ask.

Yes. An enjoyable superhero film.

WW84 is a rough one dude. I love these movies and am not super picky and I had a hard time getting through it in one sitting.

Any reason? Was it just boring? Sucked all around? Acting bad? Etc..
I know some people were pretty stoked about this movie coming out. And I thought it was cool that I could watch it at home when it was released. But man I keep seeing tons of negative shite about it.

I really enjoyed this one, had a Captain America vibe to it. It was a pretty decent origin movie.

I think the first one is a top tier superhero flick.
It's incredibly disappointing that this was the follow-up.

Yeah, the first is definitely worth watching. This one just wasn't good.. at all. Not even background noise good.

Just saw it in the theater. Got off early from work and caught a matinee where I was the only person there.
Have to say, I enjoyed it.
First time seeing a movie on the big screen in months and despite the complete silliness of the plot and a pretty cheesy story, I found it pretty easy to sit through the 2.5 hours.
It was fun, comical and watching Gadot frolic around in her WW costume is simply captivating.
Was it as good as the first one? Hell no. So many times I thought ‘WTF?’ While watching so I get the negative responses, I do. Reading through this thread has me questioning why I liked it so much, but dammit I don’t even care.
I hated Tenet. Have hated every DC property since Man of Steel except for the first Wonder Woman.
This I enjoyed.
