kind of like real life?
I'd say they have more like 80% of the speaking roles in real life. But Hollywood wants to sell tickets to women, so they make movies about stupid, oafish men who learn how to act like women and call them "romcoms." Naturally, the male character has to have more lines to demonstrate his inherent stupidity and eventual salvation through estrogen and good wine.

And? Movie media are mostly for men because more men go to the movies. television is a medium which is more for women, the stuff on prime time is mostly for them.
The mother comment was just weird. Does anyone think there should be a cap on women becoming mothers based on how many people are in board rooms?
Sorry humanity. Sustaining the species is not a priority.

Now had they enacted the scene from the book with the rat... well, then they'd be making a statement of sorts.

That's was a horrendous remake of that scene.
I think it also highlights just how great the acting and directing was in the original.
But damn these cards sucked.

Wow. That was horrible and pointless, but exactly the kind of dumb shite feminists would come up with. I also don't believe that women have only 31% of speaking roles. That sounds really made up, like the fake college rape stats.
So those are actual, employed actresses, huh? They're lucky to be working at all.

Looking past the glaring "missed the whole point" feel of the clip, can we talk about the shitty production value.
The cards weren't even printed on card stock. They were clearly bent and regular printer paper. The girls looked disheveled at best.
The first thing I noticed is that the cards looked so shitty and weren't even cut cleanly. It looked like they made them on inkjet card paper with serrated edges and then tried to pseudo-clean them up.
"Pat Bateman" was a terrible actress. She wouldn't even make it on shitty youtube videos.

Couldn't watch more than 5 seconds. That was putrid.

Can women do anything right?

This should be used as an example of how the same basic content can be great or terrible depending on the Acting.
The contrast is breathtaking.
