It's a showing of the movie followed by Shatner giving an onstage performance.
I had figured that out and I just don't see any reason for me to be there with him milking his time spent on a show from the 60's-----------and with tickets costing over $90 to boot.
I'm just not much of a geek I guess.

Show up dressed as Luke and Leia. Many levels of awkward.
This would be the perfect play.
A nice percentage of Shat's work on Twitter is giving Star Wars fans shite.

Well sure, each to his own. But I grew up as a little kid watching original runs Star Trek and its reruns in syndication 24/7. Still catch em some today. So it brings back a flood of fond memories for me.
And I can't believe after all this time @ 95 he's mentally sharp as a tack.
Talk about Live Long and Prosper.

Perhaps an inappropriate Luke and Leia sibling embrace?

IDK, we don't know how much longer we might have him.
Respect and enjoy the Shat.

I was a teen when Star Trek first came on TV, so I can remember those shows from their original airing. I've also seen many of them in syndication over the years.
I've got nothing against Shatner and I think it's great he's in such good shape at his age to travel around and do what he does.
It just out of my area of interest to fork over that kind of money to see him live after they air a movie I've seen at least twice already.
But to those who feel the need------------hope you have fun.

What kind of praline does Shatner hate?

he’s 95? is that real?
his birthday is 22 March 1931, so he’s only 94
