Patricia asked how the wife was doing in a previous episode.
We still don’t know what some of the old islanders know. I think we will see a lot of finger pointing next season.
When did the prior preacher leave? He seemed to be one of the only few that knows about the bells so maybe the monster lays dormant for decades after the sacrifices

I need to go and rewatch the priest episode now that I know what I know. I really had no idea why he killed himself and I don't remember anything about the letters he was reading in the study.

This is why he needs to come clean with Evan till this gets settled and figured out so he doesn't end up in Tom's shoes.
Otherwise the divide will get wider between Evan and Tom as Tom is doing things to help the island and ultimately Evan but Evan won't see it as that but will see it as him hiding things from him.
He needs to talk to him about the curse, entity, and Ruth being his grandmother. I think Evan will tend to believe it also after what he saw in the dungeon.

I think some shite went down between Tom and the entity when he was all high on shrooms. I can't help but feel like that's going to come back up again next season.
I need to go back and rewatch the show now that it's over to see what I didn't catch.

I was absolutely waiting for when the camera panned back from Tom to her in the living room for her to be sitting up and undead.

Nothing was ever discussed about what he saw. He told Wyck I believe that he saw something or "it".
Great info on the YT screenshots. Very interesting about Wycks hand. If he did form some kind of pact I guess that will be addressed later as flashback or story that Wyck tells. Or maybe this is just coincidence.

Well and we know there was a weird pause between him going in the water (when they were taking Warren passed the buoy) and Tom finding him. Enough to have a “what the frick happened there?” kind of pause.

Well, things need to happen in the show and they need to happen to characters that matter
but the in show explanation is definitely the island trying to stop them and the boogeyman having unfinished business with Patricia.

Rewatched 1st 5 episodes.
The video playing on TV in Historical Society had a nugget. Video host said that Warren was the "Lord Island Protector or as the citizens affectionately call Mayor."
At Patricias party it was.cool how they dropped quick hints of the mouth open trance while Patricia was dancing in the middle.
It is odd how Rosemary didnt make a bigger deal about Patricias prep in the kitchen. She knows a lot more than we know. She knows more than Wyck i think.

I think chaining the bell was an act of desperation to hope it wouldnt ring. Or during the lull of island they chained so nobody would ring it as a prank and freak the people out.
During Toms hallucination a quick scene of him in his office he was looking out to the pic of Francis? and her husband and his face was blurred. Dont know if that was an easter egg or not because the shot in sequence it was normal.
ETA: The paintin was of the really old guy and Francis....not Sarah.
