I enjoyed the film but I did not care for the following:
1. Pocket multiverse concept
2. Superman getting dog walked most of the movie like a Spiderman comic
3. Overly country dumb human parents.
4. Teams of a hundred people working with Luthor
5. Jimmy Olson as a p-hound.
The dog was excellent.

They really did have some excellent casting. Rosenbaum was top tier. Durance was the best Lois. I tell John Schneider all the time he was the best Jonathan Kent. Welling did a great job imo. Allison Mack joined a sex cult. Damn good intro song

Smallville was Da Goat of Superhero TV shows. Though the first 3 seasons of Arrow were pretty great too.

The Chinese are completely over superhero movies. They will have to adjust the budgets going forward because I’m not sure how you win them back.
The animated movie Ne Zha 2 grossed $2 billion in China alone. They showed up for Jurassic World and will probably do the same for Avatar 3.

Superman beat out Jurassic World domestically, but will fall short of it worldwide by over 200 mil. That’s how bad the foreign box office is for superhero movies rn. They’re done lol.
