I read a study that stated buttsex caused sweat glands to be very overactive.

So my guess is they had buttsex before each sweaty scene was filmed.

Who with whom I shant guess

Harold Faltermeyer.

Having Axel F and Top Gun Anthem to your credit is a knockout 80s 1-2 punch.

Miramar is in San Diego Its 72 degrees and sunny with low humidity every day Also they even sweat in air conditioned office buildings. Feel free to add your other overanalytical Top Gun observations

Spent time at the submarine base at Pt. Loma in the late 90's. The on-base buildings weren't air conditioned since San Diego never gets "that" hot. Still can get uncomfortably warm in buildings with low air flow in the summer though.

Sweating in some of the interior spaces on the ship though is a bit unjustified.

Not sure if an aircraft carrier had this issue, but submarines sure did. Since the cooling system had to be designed with enough cooling to manage heat from electronics, cooking, steam, etc.., the spaces that DIDN'T have this equipment would get pretty cold. There were sets of space heaters to try to correct for this but they weren't reliable. Of course, it's a warship and not a hotel so it's not like there are easy to set thermostats in every space.

Dude, it's a fricking action movie not a documentary. Other than acknowledging that Top Gun exists, why would you think they are try to be factual?

I think you are missing the point of this thread

usually during military instruction you are still uniform in appearance. some guys with aviators and jackarse in back row wearing a cover. Even for Navy this is probably a no go. Also Goose needs some freaking military barring. In today's military that smirk could be sexual harassment.

I don't think it's a big deal they are not uniform in appearance, I mean they are inside a hangar not sitting in a ready room or anything. Also it's guys from different squadrons.

Not just Goose but it's everyone there, one of those attention to detail things they missed.

My biggest gripe would probably be the polos under the flight suits.

Every movie that had Kenny Loggins music was a hit back then.

Dude was solid gold when it came to soundtracks.

Kenny Logins didn't write the music to Top Gun.
