lolwut

Superman could incinerate the Joker with an eyeblast from the moon while the Joker is dozing off on the crapper.

But he won't do that and that's why he would get toyed with.

I don't know much about comics but I did study some marvel and DC characters.

Juggernaut is well above street level and would be suicide for characters like Spiderman to fight alone.

I think it was during the world war hulk saga that wolverine fought the hulk. The fight didn't last long because hulk picked up a an almost unconscious wolverine by the arm and slung him several miles.

This was a serious hulk that didn't want to play but ended a fight asap.

Spiderman beat juggernaut alone though in the comics. Spiderman is actually very very strong.

It must be very poor writing. Spiderman physically can't hurt juggernaut. He tried punching Hulk and his hands bled in pain. Didn't hurt hulk at all.

It was very good writing, IMO. It also emphasized how awesomely powerful Juggernaught is.

But to be fair, Spider-Man outsmarted him rather than beat him up.

Happened all the way back in Amazing Spider-Man 230 (1982).

Here's a recap, for anyone interested.

Hulk holds back in a lot of his fights because he has an inner struggle with Banner. I think Banner has multiple personalities which manifest as different hulks. Some are weaker and some are stronger.

I assume he holds back against Wolverine because he probably enjoys the fight and didn't intentionally go for any kills. It just isn't in his character.
