Yeah, didn't see that coming. I see it as being kind of weak because there's no way Rick will leave the Morty and Summer we know. It's a threat I'm 100% confident they won't follow through with because going through with the threat ruins the show.
I wish they followed up with Evil Morty in epic fashion. Plus Phoenix Person is still out there.

Objectively speaking, yeah it should have been. And the end expects me to buy that Rick abandoned Morty? Sorry, but anyone with a brain knows that's not the case. Do something slightly different with this episode and end the season with Evil Morty taking over the Citadel if you're not almost immediately going to follow up on it. It would be one hell of a cliffhanger.

Standby this as a mediocre season at best.
Terrible finale, I'm hoping it was a joke and they have either new episodes left or season 4 is almost done and coming out way sooner and it's a troll.
Otherwise average season with a few decent episodes, but not worth waiting 2 entire years for.
I know I'll get slammed for it, but I also just think it was impossible to live up to the first 2 seasons. This was the sophmore slump and it was still pretty decent considering. Those season 1 and season 2 could be the best 2 starting seasons of any show ever.
I think they'll get back on track in season 4, there were some great episodes just overall meh

I still have to watch the last two episodes. The lasting impression of this season on me has got to be the psrink monologue. The individual who wrote that just had so much disdain towards Rick that it bled through the pages. There were great episodes, but some extremely meh ones.

I liked the finale as a stand alone. I think it was funny and had some classic Rick moments. Kind of a let down for the finale though. I was hoping for something with evil Morty. They fooled us all alluding to president Morty with the title.

I'd switch 6 & 7, but solid list. It's amazing because after the therapy episode, I was convinced it sucked when they focused on Beth instead of the other characters. ABC's of Beth proved me wrong though.

I'm just now getting around to watching this. On Season 1 Episode 6 right now (Rick Potion #9), and this is amazing. I'm struggling to find a show that the writing compares to. The wit is just off the charts.
