Is it just me or do the best picture nominees kind of suck this year? I mean one battle was pretty good and sinners was decent but neither are exceptional films in my eyes

It’s been like that every year for awhile now except the year Nolan graced us with the masterpiece that is Oppenheimer

Did I miss Van Der Beek? Or did they not add him to this memorial?

I didn’t see him. I wish I didn’t see that Streisand performance

They didn't show him which is fricking inexcusable.

All the empty rooms is a tear bringer. Happy it won. On Netflix and should be seen.

Sirat would win best sound if I could pick. Highly recommend checking it out when it’s widely available.

I liked both (am on the right) but it’s a weak year.

Sinners is the only one I was interested in seeing in theaters other than F1

Last weekend at an artsy theater that shows a lot of independent films. The director and writer did a Q&A after which was pretty cool.

It’s there, but not quite as heavy handed. OBAA is literally about a far left domestic terrorist group.

Told my wife life we could’ve done without that abortion of a vocal performance

Was hoping for The Secret Agent there. Sentimental Value is a really well made film but it’s SUPER slow.
