I bet the next host will be an NBC guy.
I think this as well. It will be a former or current SNL member. I could see Bill Hader as a dark horse.

Seems like he has a ton of movies in development, and he is getting his wife's career rolling on as a director. If The To Do List does well, I can see her doing comedies for the next decade.

The King of all Media, Howard Stern.

What? He's become really good at what he does. He's the most genuine of all the hosts and that comes through.
I tried watching his monologue again recently when he had a guest on I wanted to see. I'll try not to make that mistake again.

John Mulaney would be brilliant and he has connections with NBC as he was a former writer for SNL. Plus, he's way the frick funnier than Seth Meyers.

If Ricky brings over Karl Pilkington as his sidekick, I'd be all for it.

Lorne Michaels already said Seth Meyers is his top choice.
Fallon and Meyers will be the late night kings for NBC.
Now the question is.....who becomes head writer and weekend update host(s) on SNL? Cecily Strong would be awesome on Weekend Update.

Seth Meyers is hilarious. I'm not sure what you're talking about. Plus, as someone already mentioned, he has Lorne Michaels backing him, and he obviously carries a ton of weight over there.
Meyers is a very charismatic guy. I think he'd be an awesome ying to Fallon's yang.

Fallon is moving the tonight show to NYC and compete directly with Kimmel/Letterman in the time slot and Letterman in the city for bookings
So the theory is Michaels will move the followup show to LA to get LA bookings and fill the void after Kimmel against Ferguson. Seth Meyers is not an LA guy so he may be the front runner but he may be a poor fit. I think it will be someone we least expect.

Kimmel isn't an LA guy. Neither is Conan. That's not a prerequisite to being a good talk show host.

Are you kidding me? I watched his video with Artie Lange and he had the most fake, arse kissing laugh after Artie said non-funny things.
