Letdown of a season finale. All that slow burn for that? Went out with a whimper and they pussed out big time last night. Show seemingly is so far up its own arse after the success from seasons 1 and 2.

Lochlan drinking the death smoothie and being saved was a total cop-out. Chelsea was going to die and they made sure they had the Greek tragedy rolling.

The last 10 mins or so were very rushed. It's a legit criticism of the episode
Agree. For the finale, I was surprised it still started slow and then sped up to the ending.

Parker Posey was also great. Her scene with Leslie Bibb was so awkward
I guess that was a red herring. Never to be discussed again. I thought we'd see something go down in the finale that would show that.

Meh, a very high percentage of season finales from any show are letdowns. I rarely get my expectations up for finales. In this case, they just had too many storylines going and didn't have enough time to wrap all of them up in a way that was satisfying to all viewers. It happens. I was fine with most of the outcomes. The only one that was truly a dud to me was the jewelry store robbers. That one just fizzled out with no real resolution.
I didn't want Lochlan to die, so I was glad that he came back. I thought for sure he was a goner.

How is the show "up its own arse?"

the short haired girl grew on me. Shes a hottie and a banging body. Rockwell is a lucky guy

But I just remembered that Greg was involved with those gays, for sure the head gay. I bet he would have wanted to do more than watch.

Are we forgetting Leslie Bibb from Talladega nights?? I means, she has always been an attractive person. And is a good 3 inches taller than Sam, who is barely 5'8".
Also ... one final tidbit of insight --- Isaacs and Parker HATED each other. Not sure why exactly, but that is likely the behind the scenes drama he has alluded to.

Huh, interesting. Wonder why? Did Isaacs go all method and really get zonked out on pills?

the short haired girl in the 3 chicks group?

Yeah the same one you called "the other one" and said she was the least hot of the 3. And then got 23 downvotes for that hot take.

I saw this and was trying to remember when they hooked up in the series. Had to do a search to see they are irl "partners".

I means it was a shitty take. That's about it though.

You answered your own question with your response.
Also, removing the opening theme song was a big miss on their part. It’s an identifier for the show and they said nah, let’s switch it up because we can. Would be like Game of Thrones switching up their theme song. And that’s giving White Lotus too much credit

Piper was originally going to lose her virginity to Belinda's son, Zion, in #TheWhiteLotus Season 3 finale.
“That part was cut, which is very disappointing," says Mike White. “There’s this whole scene where she’s like, ‘It’s true. Saxon is right about this one thing. I need to get this over with.’ And you know how after she leaves the monastery she’s just like, ‘I need to have sex.’ But in the end, it was one of these things where it was like, it’s already an hour and a half. It would have added 10 minutes to the thing. And it had a little bit of a rom-com vibe in the middle of trying to kill the family with the pong pong fruits. It just felt like I was trying to do too much narratively.”

That would have been pointless

Loved the finale.
1- I lost it when Lochlan opened his eyes. I don’t know why, but it was so touching to me to see the relief and love on Tim’s face.
2- Belinda sucks. She’s the example of “you become what you hate.” She’s hated these rich people for years. The moment she’s got a little scratch in her pocket, she becomes just like them. And she ain’t even close to the same stratosphere as the people who stay at The White Lotus.
3- Zion is a terrible son. I never would’ve talked my mother into spending time with someone who may have murdered his wife and then try to shake him down for money. Mark him down as someone I never want to get a beer with.
4- Someone needed to get in Chelsea’s face and tell her to stop trying to fix Rick. I like her. She’s fun, but I would’ve called her out on her pseudo-spirituality in a heartbeat. I wonder if her home girl up at Gary’s place knows she’s dead.
5- The ladies had a beautiful moment at dinner. And Carrie Coon’s monologue was beautifully delivered. Loved seeing Monaghan apologize to her.
6- Give Parker Posey and Walter Goggins their Emmys now. Standouts of the season for me. We have Victoria Ratliff magnets all over our fridge now. Honorable mentions for Schwarzenegger and Rockwell.
7- Can’t wait for Season 4
JW—great work! Thanks for sharing the insider info. This is TV worth watching.

There definitely was some great acting this season. Some of the best performances of the series but seemingly wasted. The conclusion to the women’s story was great. Great arc with those 3. Just let down by the rest of it all.

Their arc and Saxon's arc were the best. Arnold's son played that character perfectly. Hope to see him in more stuff in the future
