You got dv'ed but on the aftershow the actor playing Lochlan said now that Saxon won't even look at him he's turning his attention to Piper, insinuating he wanted to recreate the Lochlan/Saxon experience with Piper.

I didn't get the impression he meant sexually but more so from a connection standpoint. She's seeking a spiritual connection (not uncommon for someone that feels lost) and he's willing to ride along with that in order to have validation from her.

I think he views what he did with his brother was more about doing what he thought his brother wanted and to earn his approval. Or at least that's the impression I got from the after show clip. Especially with his brother openly masturbating with the bathroom door open in front of him, sleeping naked in the same room with him, etc. I don't think Saxson realized until it was too late he was giving off the vibe that he was to his brother. Poor bastard.

That said, I absolutely cracked up that he started remembering what happened in the middle of a meditation session.

The Ringer pod has had some good theories

1. They think the black woman will call Interpool or some agency to report Greg and they show up and Greg, Goggins and the NC Dad all think they are there for them and chaos happens

I could see this happening. Chaos not knowing who the law is there for but everyone thinking its them.

3. They also said someone has eaten fruit or made a smoothie in each episode. They think that is foreshadowing that someone is going to get poisoned.

for sure happening, but who?

That mention of the poisonous fruit early on in the season is definitely a Chekhov's gun.

I wonder if Gary/Greg is going to try to poison some people at his little soiree.

Baggins character ending the show last night was the only cliff hanger. I sort of expected him to immediately open fire.

I just assume the hotel owners husband is his dad and he has been hiding from his this and that

I think Lochlan did that because that’s what he wanted to do and being altered lowered his inhibitions enough to act on it.

That's what I assume as well. Especially with the way he's talked about how his Mom told him about his Dad. Sounds like a typical "We'll just say he's dead" situation to avoid telling Rick about what actually happened.

I can definitely buy that he wanted to do it, but it feels deeper than just surface desire to do THAT. Like our favorite toothy girl mentioned, for most people there's no amount of alcohol or drugs that would allow them to lose that much inhibition.

Agreed there is another story here

I dont know if it’s been discussed but I think gaitok is secretly a bad arse. I’ve had this feeling since the heist episode when he’s talking to the Russian dude at the gate and he’s being invited to the fights. It was very suttle and slow but gaitok throws this little muaythai combo and I remember thinking oh he’s got skills. And then the gun range scene this week where he seems all to familiar with the gun

Also, the scene where his boss is like hey the gun is missing, when Gaitok whips it out to show him, he’s not holding it like an inexperienced gun handler.

I tend to agree with that as well. Though the same thing after his handling of the gun.

I didn’t say being on drugs caused him to lower his inhibitions to just go with the flow with his brother. I’m saying that he’s always wanted to do it and being on drugs made it easier to do.

he said in the after episode interview that he did it because he thought it would be something that Saxon would like…and now he’s confused that Saxon is ignoring him. The dude is a little off the reservation at this point

I like the theory that Belinda calls the authorities about Greg and Tim/Rick/Valentin/whoever else all think they are there for them. From what we saw/heard in ep1 it was a confusing chaotic situation which would be much more interesting than a standard criminal invasion

I mean, we all called the incest from the ending of episode one. The younger brother clearly has the hots for the older brother.

That's not true. Some people did, but most were anti that sentiment. And I just want to point out that on page fricking 12 of this thread I brought up Lochlan staring lustfully at Saxon's arse, and also while watching him jerk off in the bathroom, and I got downvoted to shite.

But now I have been fully vindicated.

In that earlier episode I recall the younger brother having weird moments with both his brother and his sister, no?

Tim is totally right that the experience would be good for her and Victoria is right to be concerned about her safety. Good father/mother dynamic there.

I like that they actually seem like good parents for the most part.

I enjoyed this episode, but the whole "fake out" scenes are maddening though. I can't stand when movies or shows do the unreliable narrator thing. But to keep going back to that well just feels lazy.

I was glad Gaitok got the gun back. No need to drag that out any longer.

The cougars story is fun, but it's just the same ole rinse and repeat every week basically. Monohan was looking fricking fiya in that bikini though. Good lord.

Chloe may not be the prettiest girl, but her body has been on fire the last couple episodes.

I hope the Goggins/Bangkok thing wraps up this next episode and we get him back at the resort. A show like this doesn't need to spread itself out too thin (sort of like it did last season with so many people leaving town). And I hope Goggins doesn't die, mainly because I like Chelsea and would be sad for her.

I've mostly caught up with the thread and I agree it may be Mook that gets killed in the end. And I suspect it will be because of Gaitok somehow. That dude fricking sucks at everything. I am interested to see how their date goes and how friend zoned he actually is. This episode was the first time that Mook actually sort of showed some interest in going on a date with him rather than just stringing him along. I do like the theory on this page that Gaitok is secretly a badass though. I would welcome that twist.

The armed security guards they keep showing have to come into play pretty heavily at some point I'd think.

My buddy made a joke that the WL manager dude looks like Will Wade and now I can't unsee it.

100%. And the smoothie angle plays perfectly into that. I don't think it'll be Saxon that is poisoned though. I like the theory that it will be Tim after he finds out everything worked out back at work/home.

I don't know if there were any weird moments with the sister as much as it was him talking with Saxon and Saxon was making those comments about her. Like basically talking about how hot she is, and how they should sleep in the same room or something like that.

Which sort of comes full circle now that they will be spending the night at the monastery. And I believe in the previews for the next episode it shows them physically close or even about to kiss or something, no?
