Yeah, there are a lot of people like that for me too. I'll sometimes read threads for movies I don't want to see or care about just because of who is participating in the thread.

I like reading Baloo here and on the MSB.

There are a lot of people I'll click on if I see that they're the last post of a thread.

I have piss poor, low brow tastes in movies and TV. No one should agree with me.

I agree with this list.

I like PsychTiger's smartass ways.

OML and Fox are my Batman fanyboy buddies. We actually posted a shite ton together in the arkham city thread on the gaming board a couple years ago.

I also like how Cokes goes into detail in a majority of his posts. He's probably a fast typer.

Speaking of fast typers, the most insane and fastest I know on here has got to be SlowFlowPro. On the poliboard, I would see someone would post 2-4 paragraphs and SFP would respond less than a minute or two later with a long arse post of his own with a few sentences and maybe a couple paragraphs under each quote. Insane and impressive.

Us too for the most part.

And I'd add iwy for mutual appreciation of Kurosawa.

Because we aren't polar opposites or completely in agreement. We're somewhere between that.

And we love Saved by the Bell.

True. I find we agree on a good bit, but are passionate about the things we disagree on.

Really? I didn't realize you did, actually.

But let's be honest, anyone who doesn't love that show is a goddamn communist.

And typing...I can type fast as shite when it's me typing my thoughts. But as far as actually typing like for work or something, I'm awful.

Baloo as well, though I feel like we've been in agreement more and more lately

Yeah, I must be mellowing in my old age. It's ticking me off that we're agreeing so much recently, because I like debating with you. I really enjoy those who disagree with me and can defend their arguments in a logical way. It just gives me a new way of looking at a movie, particularly when that person subscribes to a different aesthetic as me.

Though I find myself moving closer to Coco's general view: I like liking things. Life's too short to focus on stuff you hate. And while I have a bit of a rep for the things I dislike (Woody Allen, Wes Anderson), I'd rather not be defined by the negative, and its not like I think the people who do like those things are stupid. I'd far prefer to be identified as the guy who loves the Coen brothers, like Freaux and Kurosawa.

Baloo bringing the heavy. We can stop with the Wes jokes.

Workers of the world, unite!

Though I stay out of the SBTB threads because I hate hate HATE people who show up in "praise" threads to say how much they hate that thing. It's like people on the MSB who show up in the hockey thread to say that they hate hockey. Good for you. Unless the conversation is about the sport/movie's merits, don't just pee in people's Cheerios.

But that show is f'n dumb.

Are they doing Arkham 3?

I'll start the next one if so. That was one long arse IM thread that still kept on topic somewhat. We talked about Batman then just general bullshite.

You remember my sig quote?

That this is the laid back, "Hey, like what you like" board? We like talking about stuff, but generally respect each other's opinions?

Sort of like the polar opposite of the rest of the internet.
