Where do you rank The Mask (1994) on the list of Jim Carrey movies?

Me, Myself and Irene
Man on the Moon
Dumb and Dumber
all better than The Mask IMO.

The film is his Beetlejuice, for those who catch my meaning. Carrey is often "over-the-top" and this film, to me, is his most over-the-top, overall.
I would rank it highly, but I think he really showed more range in things like Eternal Sunshine, The Truman Show, and I enjoyed things like Liar, Liar and Dumb and Dumber more than The Mask.
But, that doesn't take away from The Mask, which is kind of subversively a great movie on many levels for that kind of product.

I think it's great for what it is, which is basically a live-action version of a cartoon.
Very enjoyable.

it suited his style of humor very well, i call it the perfect role for him.
he tries to do jerry lewis but in a hugely over exaggerated way so im not a fan of most of his stuff but still enjoy watching it if nothing else is on tv.
i think jerry lewis did it in a more real genuine bumbling idiot sort of way that wasnt as obviously forced although he did a few movies that were bad because he did them in a hugely over exaggerated way, but i think he learned quickly not to repeat that mistake. carrey seems to have gone the other waty and only wants to do things in a hugely over exaggerated way

It's in the bottom half of all the Jim Carrey movies that I have personally seen.
It's better than Dumb & Dumber To, and Batman Forever.

Truman Show is at the top of the list.
The Mask, for me, still holds up.
Loved The Majestic.
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind is good but too deep for my 17 yr old self and I haven't seen it since.
Ace Ventura was awesome back in the day, but now I need to be on something to enjoy them.
Comedians in Cars Getting Coffe makes me think Jim Carrey might make a comeback.

About midway for me. No where near as good as Dumb and Dumber.

1. The Majestic
2. Truman Show
3. Liar Liar
4. Dumb and Dumber
5. The Mask
6. Me Myself and Irene
7. Waterboy
8. Ace Ventura
That is my list. I liked those 8 in that order. After those, I can't think of any others that I enjoyed.

He really did an excellent job playing Adam Sandler in this one.

Loved it back then. It hasn't held up that well.
