No ones mentioned Face Off. I really liked that movie. He did a good job of playing Castor Troy then John Travoltas role as Sean Archer.

Knowing is the last NC movie I've seen, and I actually kinda liked that one.

"Rant on Dumaine Street".

Which IMO was a screen test, in hope, for a remake of Streetcar Named Desire.

I thought Bangkok Dangerous was every bit as good as Lord of War was.

Never said I loved it but it was very entertaining.

Just a fun movie to watch.

That damn little girl was just awesome.

I am not a big comic book or fantasy fan and I didn't relate to the Kick-arse and his buddies, but the scenes with Cage & the girl made it fun for me.

Semi-spoilers!

The comic strip about the Cage character being framed, going to prison and becoming what he was might have made a better movie on it's own.
The same ending could have been used.

Not gonna apologize for being a Nic Cage fan. I'm an action movie fan too. Ghost Rider sucked. Past that I liked or loved most everything. Con Air, Face Off, 8mm good. National Treasure 1 and 2. Matchstick Men. Raizing Arizona. His whole body of work is fricking good.

Really?? What is your definition of consistent. He's been in good movies over the past three decades, but not consistent by any means. I literally enjoyed one of his last 15 movies. Yeah, the guy is practically the Ty Cobb of the movie industry.

Lord of War was actually pretty damned good.

He's made several very good movies and he's got that Oscar thing.

So you've seen all 15 of them? Wow, at least we can agree someone is consistent.

Well I think it's safe to say quite a few of them suck without ever watching them. Sorry I should have been more clear.

But way to quote the question then not answer it. Either way, point is, he's not consistent no matter how you feel about the guy.
