The new James Bond movie.

I'm a sucker for that franchise.

Is this the Chinese approved poster with the altered jacket? I see that it is.

Yeah, I really don't feel like paying to watch anything that passes through their quality control.

Jesus you're a sensitive little snowflake.

To be fair, the original jacket has the flag of the Chinese Nationalists/Taiwan and the flag of Japan. It is getting old seeing American companies bow down to really stupid and irrational Chinese pressure just because the Chinese Communists are a bunch of overly sensitive snowflakes.

Call me crazy but I'm really looking forward to the Black Widow movie. At first I thought that there was no reason for it, but I'm looking forward to seeing Task Master on the big screen. Also:

The Eternals
The King's Man
Wonder Woman 1984
Bad Boys For Life
Onward
Tenet
Bill & Ted Face the Music
The Grudge
The Conjuring 3
Coming to America 2
Last Night in Soho (Sucker for Edgar Wright films)

Let’s hope they don’t turn Maverick into a loser or kill him off in some stupid way. If Hollywood can piss all over Luke Skywalker, Han Solo and John Connor, what character is safe from having his image wrecked by some moron writer / director?

ETA: If I were someone who played an iconic character that was so heavily linked to my image that no one else could play the part (like Cruise / Maverick) I would have some creative control in my contract.

I don't go to the cinema. I look forward to some Netflix and Prime releases in 2020. It's all entertainment.

I would think that Cruise has some creative input on how his character is portrayed as compared to some Disney-owned properties like Disney Star Wars.

Tenet (2020)
Directed by: Christopher Nolan
Starring: John David Washington, Elizabeth Debicki, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Robert Pattinson, Kenneth Branagh, Michael Caine, Himesh Patel
Opening on: July 17, 2020

We know that Christopher Nolan’s next film will be called Tenet, and we know who’s on board to star in it, and we know that the story will have something to do with international espionage. But, in true Nolan fashion, that’s about all we know at this point. And for a lot of fans, that’s enough.

Last Night in Soho (2020)
Directed by: Edgar Wright
Starring: Anya Taylor-Joy, Matt Smith, Thomasin McKenzie, Diana Rigg, Terence Stamp
Opening on: September 25, 2020

Any time Edgar Wright has a new movie coming out, it’s something to look forward to. But throw in the fact that he’s assembled a cast that includes up-and-coming young stars like Anya Taylor-Joy and Thomasin McKenzie, as well as legendary vets like Diana Rigg and Terence Stamp? And the fact that it’s a horror film inspired by both Don’t Look Now and Repulsion? Yes, please, and thank you.

Dune (2020)
Directed by: Denis Villeneuve
Starring: Timothée Chalamet, Josh Brolin, Rebecca Ferguson, Oscar Isaac, Javier Bardem, Jason Momoa, Dave Bautista, Zendaya
Opening on: December 18, 2020

Acclaimed director Denis Villeneuve takes on the massive challenge of re-adapting Frank Herbert’s sprawling sci-fi epic more than 30 years after David Lynch attempted the same and, according to many fans, fell short. At the very least, Villeneuve has assembled an impressive cast (just look at those names!) so it’s now up to him and his co-writers to fashion an engaging script from the daunting source material.
