the killer was never caught and that scared the living shite out of me as this film was based on true events.

and it was fairly close by. And he targeted kids going to dark secluded spots to make out... ultimate cock blocker !

Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. I was six when I first saw Mola Ram pull the guy's heart out of his chest.

Signs. It isn't even a terribly scary movie but it goes from 0 to 100 SUPER quick and it scarred me.

Salem's Lot

My parents thought it was funny to torture me with this movie when I was around four... I’d hide around the corner from the living room (the sound was loud and I didn’t want to stay in my bedroom), and my dad would say “you can look, it’s not scary right now” I looked every time. Blue vampire right on the screen.

It gets brought up every once in a while and my wife still gets a little mad at them

Honorable mention. I don't I ever saw the whole movie, but the abduction scene was on HBO or something one time and I stupidly watched all of it.

The Exorcist. Messed me up really bad. Didnt sleep in my own bed for days because I thought my bed was going to start shaking.

And Jaws only traumatized me by keeping me out of the ocean for about 10 years after I watched it.

The Exorcist.

That one got to be me even though I waded through a metric ton of horror movies without blinking an eye.

Dracula; 1931 version w/ Bela Lugosi. I was about 10 when I saw it on TV. Didn’t get over my fear of vampires until Interview With the Vampire came out.

There is a documentary on Netflixs about The Town That Dreaded Sundown that’s pretty good.
