the teacher for our advanced literature class in 8th grade took ill and a long term substitute was brought in. I can't remember her name but I'm pretty sure they dusted this bitch off from retirement and told her to do whatever the frick she wanted because it was technically a special ed class and nobody gave a shite about the curriculum of those classes.


Anyway, long story short, we were studying American gothic horror and my "fricked in the head" friend convinced her that Hellraiser was a prime example of such. This woman was at least 70 and no clue what Hellraiser was about.


So we watched Hellraiser 2 in class. So I was 13 but JESUS, that is one fricked up movie.

There was some movie where this kid wakes up one mooring to this alien started invasion by taking over people's bodies by attaching to the back of their neck (iirc)

After the climax of the movie, he wakes up and realized he dreamed it all but the aliens are actually invading for real this time
