Raising Arizona is my favorite. I think its funny as hell.
Their early work was so important to me, it was coming out right as I was getting into movies, so it will always be special to me. Blood Simple, Barton Fink, and Miller's Crossing pretty much forged my movie-watching tastes.

Fargo
No Country
Raising Arizona
Barton Fink
Bad Santa
In that order for me.
But pretty much every movie they've done are excellent.

I saw that one at the theatre and it was a little to slow moving for me.
It's all subjective. My brother's favorite is A Serious Man, and that would rank among my least favorite, along with Barton Fink.
Miller's Crossing was great !

Fargo
Oh Brother
No Country
Blood Simple
Inside LLewyn Davis
Millers Crossing
Big Lebowski
Burn After Reading
True Grit
Raising Arizona
I like them all. No Country would be at the top but to me it's more about Cormac McCarthy than the Coen Brothers; even as great a job as they did with it.

I’m not trying to give Ethan the high hat but I’d have to say the movies with Joel credited as director are my favorites with the exception of Intolerable Cruelty.
Posted on 11/28/18 at 7:29 pm to midnight1961
No Country for Old Men

My choice would be No Country For Old Men.
I love Fargo and Raising Arizona but No Country was on another level and deserved the Best Picture awards it got.

Man stumbles on drug deal gone wrong, walks off with suitcase of cash.
The law and the cartel both try to find him.

A Serious Man needs more love for the Coen Bros. fans...
And I am glad Hudsucker Proxy was mentioned!
I really do like their newest film BoBS.
It is OK to not pick a fave...
