What is Willem Dafoe’s best role?

He plays the kind of creepy like able genius type so well if that makes since.
He’s been in 8 million movies but I think his character in Boondock Saints is my favorite.

From a straight acting standpoint, Elias (Platoon) is pretty solid.
So was his Jesus Christ.
But, yeah, I'm partial to his character in Boondock Saints as well.

Obviously Speed 2 Cruise Control.

Not his best role, but underrated role might be Shadow of the Vampire.

Point is that you don’t need to be 6’4” with muscles to be intimidating. With Dafoe, it’s his believable facial expression, voice and delivery that does the trick.
