T2 as a kid, Jurassic Park. Had no idea what to expect for either.

As an adult, Interstellar in 70mm IMAX

I don't know if it's the best I ever saw but the one that stood out the most for the little kid me was Willow

Maybe not the best movie...but nothing moved/inspired me like being a 7 year old boy, watching Rocky in the theater. There was a sporting goods store down from the theater, and I insisted that my dad buy me boxing gloves and a heavy bag on the way home (he wasn't too hard to convince). It was groundbreaking to me when I first saw it...it is still one of my favorites.

Probably Aliens. I was 8 years old and scared to death but it was either go shopping with my mom and sister in Cortana or watch Aliens with my dad. I stared at my shoes for like the first 20 minutes..to afraid to look at the screen. Eventually I started paying attention and it was the most exciting thing I had ever seen. Still one my favorites and the imo the best action movie of the 80's.

I'm not a big theater guy, so I don't go very often.

Some memorable ones that stick in my mind though are The Last Crusade, Independence Day, Apollo 13, Saving Private Ryan, and Twister.

1968 was a great year for movies. Seeing 2001 and Planet of the Apes made me a sci-fi fan for life.

Empire Strikes Back.

However, the most fun I ever had at a theater was going to see Scream 2 with a large group at a huge theater in Houston with about more than half the crowd were African-Americans. Now that's how you're suppose to watch a "scary" movie.

It isn't the greatest movie I've ever seen in theaters but Interstellar is probably my FAVORITE theater experience. Something about watching a space movie in a dark theater with an amazing score and gripping scenes was fantastic, when left I felt actually exhausted from the experience (in a good way).

I had a good time with that one too.

Inception might be mine. I was in El Salvador at the time and the theater didnt have a ton of seats but the screen was massive. The movie ends and we walk out and someone asks "so did it drop?" and the five of us debated whether the top dropped or not.

Does it really? I'm not arguing maybe I've been living under a rock but I have never heard of it being poorly written.

I had the same response to Pulp Fiction. I had no idea what I was in for and laughed so hard. However, the best for me is Shawshank.
