This is the way.

Although I’d definitely throw in Son of Frankenstein after Bride. Not only does it complete the trilogy with Karloff playing The Monster, it also introduces Lugosi as Ygor and the Inspector character, played brilliantly by Lionel Atwill, both of whom figure prominently in Young Frankenstein (as played by Marty Feldman and Kenneth Mars).

Now that I think of it, that’s a great lineup for Hallowe’en

It’s funny because it’s true. Or at least to me as a kid when I first watched it - there was some legit kinda scary moments and/or maybe was the black and white contributing to it. It was weirdly funny and spooky.
